It is easy to get wrapped up in the impending wedding plans and let your season of engagement pass you by. While an at-home engagement session is especially intimate, and a session in around your city may bring back fun memories, we absolutely love the idea of a destination engagement session! And what better way to kick-start your engagement celebration than to share a bucket list trip with your fiancé and have it professionally captured by your favorite photographer? Two birds, one stone. We had so much fun this summer with this engagement session at Brainard Lake in Ward, Colorado. We hit the open road with a few of our favorite industry friends wedding planner, Lottie with Grit & Gold and photographer Charla Storey.
The bride, Nicole, wanted a bouquet representative of her wedding day bouquet. We pulled together some seasonal favorites that included creamy white peony & garden roses to rich burgundy-hued ranunculus & globe scabiosa all accented with bunny tail & sarracenia (aka preacher plant) providing a beautiful texture bound by a beautiful variety of silk ribbon. Completely swoon-worthy if we say so ourselves!
